Pack 944 - Pinewood Derby

Judd's Cub Scout Pack had their annual Pinewood Derby tonight! It is a HUGE deal to the Cub Scouts! They love it! They are given a kit and then have to design and make their own car. Judd designed his own car. So, here is the finished product after several hours in the garage with Bart.



I must add that Mr. Bise (Jake's Dad) helped us at the last minute when we realized we were under weight a little bit. We had to add a few weights so it would be heavy enough! Thanks, Mr. Bise!!

Judd's car did very well! He won first place (3 out of 3 times) in the group races. He placed 7th overall for the entire race, so he was so excited to get to bring a trophy home!!! He also received the award for "Coolest Car Design". This was voted on by the parents. Judd and another boy tied for this award!









When we got home and I took some pictures of Judd, he said, "Mom, put those on facebook!". Ha! I thought that was so funny!
