Hotdogs and S'mores - Plan B

Plan A was to roast hot dogs and make s'mores in the backyard on our new fire pit we got today. Well, as we were roasting our hotdogs, Bart said, "I sure hope it's safe to eat these since we are burning a Duralog." I was like, "WHAT?" So, I went and read the box and it clearly said not to use for cooking. Soooo, we moved on to Plan B which was boiling hotdogs on the stove and making s'mores in the oven! It was a little disappointing, but they were still good! Max got to have our fire roasted hot dogs! He didn't seem to mind that they were cooked with chemicals! (Just don't call PETA on us!) :)

On another note, we just found out our sweet neighbors, Bill and Mary, are moving to Chicago. We are happy for them (Bill got a promotion), but so sad to have them move. They have been the best neighbors! Mary is always good to help with the yard or dog if we are out of town and she loves the boys. It will be so sad to see them go! Somebody in Chicago will be getting great neighbors! I just pray God has someone wonderful in mind to move into their house here!
