Spring Break....What's wrong with this picture?!?!

We have had a GREAT Spring Break!! The first part of the week was a little chilly, but Thursday and Friday were in the 70's and BEAUTIFUL! There was talk of SNOW forcasted for Saturday, but I really didn't believe the weatherman since we were wearing short sleeves and playing at the park on Thursday. Well, the weatherman got it right this time! We got snow on Saturday as predicted!

We had planned to go see Brad and Amy for the weekend and we didn't let the weather stop us! It had been so long since we had seen them (too long)! We had a great time with them even though we were house bound due to the snow! They are just like family to us! We seem to just pick up right where we left off each time we see them!

This is Skylar. Skylar is 12 years old now! I remember when Brad and Amy got Skylar 12 years ago in Atlanta! He was the cutest little puppy! He was so energetic and feisty! He has lost most of his energy in his old age, but he is still so sweet! I think he remembers me too! :)



I never remember to get a picture of Brad and Amy when we are with them, so I made them pose for a picture this time! They weren't too happy about it, but they did it anyway! :)



We stopped off in Norman, OK for breakfast on the way home. We decided to try a Diner we saw showcased on "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". Well, Guy got it wrong this time! It was a cute, old hole in the wall, but it was not very good and cost us $40 for breakfast for 4! I was turned off when I took a trip to the bathroom. You had to walk though the kitchen to get there. I know the place is small and 100+ years old, but a customer shouldn't have to walk by the chopped tomatoes and bacon to get to the bathroom! Yuck!!! We had to stop for a 7UP and Tums on the way home. My stomach just wasn't well after walking through that kitchen!



We had a great Spring Break! It just went by too fast! Now we are counting the days until summer!!
