Date Night in OKC!
Mimi was kind enough to keep the boys so Bart and I could get away for the night! We drove to Oklahoma City and stayed in the Bricktown area. We went out to eat and walked around Bricktown. After that, we watched "Date Night" in our room. We slept in this morning and then took our time coming home. It was so nice to be able to get away for the night! Thank you so much Mimi! You were so sweet to let us do that!
We stayed at the Skurvin Hilton (the oldest hotel in OK). It was very nice! Thanks to Bart's Gold Member Status, we got to upgrade to a fancy corner suite! I could get used to that life! :)

The famous Bricktown area in OKC.

On our way home, we stopped at "POPS" on historical Route 66. POPS is a gas station/diner/museum which houses pop (or as us southerners say, Coke (meaning all kinds of soda pop) from all over! It was quite a sight to see! It was lots of fun and we had to bring some home with us to taste!

Not sure they are selling many of these!

When we got back to Tulsa, Bart and I weren't quite ready to end our date yet, so we stopped at El Guapo's in downtown Tulsa for a late lunch. Then we went to Utica Square for a little shopping without the kids! So nice!

Thanks again Mimi for keeping the boys for us so we could get away! We may have to make it a regular occurrence when you come to see us from here on out! ;)
