Atlanta - Part 1
After moving to Tulsa from Atlanta almost 3 years ago, we finally made it back for a visit! We had a great time seeing old friends and going back to visit our old houses and neighborhoods we used to live in.
Our first stop was Duluth. Here is our very first townhouse that we owned. They have kept it up pretty nice.
Here is the first house we owned a few miles down the road. It was so tiny! We have great memories in this house. This is the house we were in when we brought Judd home from the hospital!
The surrounding area has changed quite a but since we lived there! Just take a look! This shopping center is right around the corner from our old neighborhood. It's just one of many like it.
The next day, we headed to Kennesaw to see some of Bart's old co-workers. Here are some of the sweetest ladies I know (Nancy, Diane and Sandra). It was great to see them! They are just as nice as I remember them!
Next, we headed west to see our Dallas house. It looks exactly the same! This house also holds great memories from when Jack was born, to Judd and Riley playing, etc...
Here is a picture of the house near the square we used to pass every day to get to our neighborhood. I wondered if they still had all of the stuff in the yard like they used to. As you can see, they do!
After doing lots of sight seeing, we were finally able to make one of Judd's dreams come true! We went to see his dear friend, Riley! They were so excited to finally get to see each other after 3 long years!
After spending some time with them at their house swimming and hanging out, we went to dinner at Henry's in Acworth. If was soooo good!
Me and Michelle.
Michelle and John.
Bart eating some fried gator! I have to admit, it was pretty tasty!
