Atlanta - Part 2

While in Atlanta, we stayed right in downtown Atlanta. We could see the aquarium from our room. We were in walking distance to the aquarium, the Coke museum, the children's museum and Olympic park.

Here is a view of beautiful downtown Atlanta from outside of our hotel.

After catching up with old friends, our first stop was the Georgia Aquarium!

Our next stop in Atlanta, was to the "World of Coke"! It was fun! We got to see lots of old and original paintings, commercials, vending machines, etc... Our favorite part of the tour was the 4-D movie. It was a hoot! Our next favorite part was getting to taste different kids of coke from all over the world! Some were really good and some were really bad! After trying so many different ones, I decided to just stick to my all time favorite, Diet Coke from right here in the United State! It can't be beat!

Here we are sitting on one of the actual American Idol couches! How cool is that?!

These are some of the original Olympic torches used in the Olympic games.

On our last day, before starting our long drive home, we took the boys to "Imagine It", the children's museum in Atlanta. It is a very educational, interactive, hands on museum. They had a blast!

While we had a blast in Atlanta, it was great to get back home! The boys and I hadn't been home for a whole month, so home felt sooo good when we walked in the door! Now, if I could just get someone to take care of this huge pile of laundry that is calling my name, clean this house and go grocery shopping for me, I would be a happy girl! (sigh)

Since the maid didn't show up today, I better go get busy!! :)
