Just Me and My Little Man!

Bart and Judd went on the Webelo Woods camp out this weekend, so it was just me and my little Jack. I was excited to be able to spend the weekend with Jack, but Jack was very disappointed he didn't get to go camping with Bart and Judd. I decided to make it a super fun Mommy-and-Me weekend since he was stuck here with me! I think he ended up having a good time! I know I did!

After Bart and Judd left on Friday, the tears began to flow. So, I told him we would do whatever he wanted to do (within reason)! I let him pick what he wanted for dinner. It was no surprise that he chose Chik-fil-A!



After dinner and a little play on the playground, we went to the pet store to pet the cats and look at the birds and fish.



Next stop, was Mardel to play with the train table. I talked him into running next door into Hobby Lobby after Mardel. Somehow, we came home with a stuffed hamster. Not sure how that happened. At least it wasn't a real one. He begged me for one at the pet store!



We made a stop for ice cream on the way home. Then we came home and watched a movie together. He got to sleep with me, so he was very excited about that!

On Saturday, we got up and went to the pumpkin patch with Leann and her girls.

This crazy goat grabbed the whole bag of food out of Jack's hand and ate it up!



After the pumpkin patch, we went to Braden's Birthday party! Braden is in Jack's class at school. This is Jack with Ashton, one of his best buddies at school!





Jack and another kid ran into each other. Jack bit his lip and it bled quite a bit. I was very proud of him for not freaking out at all of the blood! He looked at me through his tears and said, "Can I still eat cake?". Bless his heart!



Right as I was taking his picture here, he looked over at another kid and in the toughest voice he could find, he said, "You want a piece of me?". I had to laugh! He has really come out of his shell lately (maybe a little too much)! :)



After the Birthday party, I let Jack pick dinner. He wanted to go to Chik-fil-A again, but I didn't think I could eat it 2 days in a row. Instead, he chose "the place with the panda bear on it"! I agreed to Panda Express since I knew we could walk to Cherry Berry afterward!

We had a great time together! I look forward to doing it again soon! Hopefully, we can swap next time so Bart can spend some one-on-one time with Jack and I can do the same with Judd!

Well, I am off to bed! Hope Bart and Judd are nice and comfy in their tents out in the wilderness! I know they will be glad to get home and get a shower and sleep in a real bed!
