Judd Gets Braces!
We knew it was inevitable and just a matter of time before it happened. Yesterday was the big day!
Judd got braces!
He has to have them twice. The first phase is to make room for all of his permanent teeth to come in. His mouth is so tiny! They have nowhere to go! He will have to wear these for a little under a year. After all of his teeth come in, he will have another set put on to straighten them all up (phase 2).
I had him show me his teeth before we went, so here is a "before" picture.
Getting the braces put on.
And here he is afterwards!
He will go back in 2 weeks and get a pallet expander. Then he will go 2 weeks after that and get his top wire/rubber bands added. Bless his heart! He has a long road ahead of him with the orthodontist! I told him, I hope he likes them because he is wearing his first car (cha-ching cha-ching)! ;)
