Easter, Playdates, a Trip to Dallas, Out of Town Guests and a Baby Shower!
Wow! I have lots to catch up on! It has been so busy around here lately!
First, I wanted to post a couple of pictures of Jack and Maddy. They had a play date a couple of weeks ago. Maddy is so cute! She and Jack had a good time playing together!
I also have not posted any pictures of Jack's field trip to the Tulsa Air and Space Museum (TASM). Jack has been studying space in preschool. He has been coming home telling me all about the planets lately! He loved seeing the space movie at the Planetarium!

And here is a picture of his class. It was hard to get them all looking at the camera for a picture! It didn't help that about 5 Mom's were all trying to take a picture at once! I don't think they knew who to look at! Ha!
Next up.....Easter!!
We didn't have a typical Easter this year. Mattie was playing in a volleyball tournament in Dallas with her club team, Mobile Storm. We decided to go up and watch her play, visit with Big Daddy and do some fun things around Dallas and Fort Worth. We had a great time!
We did dye some Easter eggs before we went (it was Easter, after all)!
On Friday night, we met Kim and Jason and their kids for dinner at the Fort Worth Stock Yards. Afterwards, we went to the rodeo! It was so much fun getting to be with them and catch up! Our kids hit it off even though it had been 2 years since they had seen them! And Kim and I never stopped talking the entire time!

On Saturday, we went to Mattie's volleyball game. Here she is in action!

On Sunday, we celebrated Easter at our hotel. We even had our own little Easter service in the car. But before we left, we made a stop at Ikea and Chewy's Mexican Restaurant.

We had a great time in Dallas, but we needed to get home to get ready for our out of town company! We were so excited to hear that Amy and the kids were coming!! It had been way too long since we had seen them, so we were really excited!!

We had so much fun with them! Just wish they could've stayed longer! Can't wait to see you this summer, Amy (hint-hint)! ;)
Last, I want to post some pictures from the baby shower I co-hosted today. It was for my friend, Leann. She has two girls, but is expecting her first boy in a few weeks! His name is Wyatt Allen! So cute! We had a cowboy themed shower at her friend, Kristi's, house. I think it turned out really cute. Here are some pictures.

Well, I think that about wraps it up! Whew!! That was a lot of pictures! I'm going to try not to wait so long to blog from now on! Some times life gets so busy!
