Fall Break Mini Vacation!

For Fall Break, we decided to go to Dallas, TX for a long weekend. It's only about 4 hours away, so it's not a bad trip. We always have fun in Dallas! Typically, we spend most of our time in the Fort Worth area, but we wanted to do something different this time.

We started out at the Great Wolf Lodge!

We have been wanting to try it out for a couple of years now, so we decided to go ahead and do it. The boys loved it! They had a great time!

Here is a video of the big bucket of water as it emptied down on everyone underneath!

As fun as the indoor water park was, we think the boys' favorite part was playing the Magiquest game!

This was a big hit with all of the kids! You purchase a Magi wand and a game and then you begin your journey to becoming a Magi and beating the dragon! It was alot like a scavenger hunt, except you used your wand when you found the item you were looking for. The game took place on 6 floors and you were not allowed to use the elevators (it takes away points). So, we got LOTS of exercise playing this game! We probably spent a good 4 hours playing!

This was one of the many signs in the secret stairwell. We used these signs as part of the clues to finding everything on our quest/adventure!

After 1 1/2 days at Great Wolf, we headed to The Hampton Inn for the next 2 nights. We did a little shopping, eating out and went to Lego Land Discovery Center and the Sea Life Aquarium at Grapevine Mills.

It was a great time! Lots of memories were made with the boys!
