The Elf on the Shelf!
Mimi got the boys an "Elf on the Shelf" this year at Thanksgiving! Even though we only have 1 Santa believer in our house, I thought it would still be fun to do it with the boys!
Jack named our elf, Sparky. He was afraid of him at first (he is a little creepy looking). Jack just knew he saw the elf's eyes move! It freaked him out! Ha! But he has gotten used to it, and now looks forward to trying to find him in the mornings! Judd has played along well! He loves to remind Jack that the elf is watching him and will tell Santa if he's being bad. I have had to remind Judd that the elf is also watching him and will report to Santa (aka: ME) if he is being bad! ;)
So, here are some things that Sparky, the Elf, has been up to since he arrived at our house a few weeks ago!
As you can see, some nights Sparky got into a little mischief (wrapping the tree with toilet paper, eating a bag of hershey kisses, making snowmen marshmallows and even taking a marshmallow bubble bath - Hee Hee!). He's mostly been a good elf, though, and hasn't found too much trouble! He only has 2 nights left before he hops on Santa's sleigh and heads back to the North Pole for the year! Wonder what he's got planned for his last 2 nights with us? ;)
