What Matters...

It's not even December yet and I am already finding myself caught up in the hurry of Christmas. My "to do " lists are so long! My mind is going 90 to nothing thinking of all that has to be done in the next month. May I not lose sight of WHY I am doing these things. May I not get too wrapped up in the festivities and forget the reason why we have the festivities. From my devotional this morning...Luke 10:41-42, "But the Lord answered and said to her, 'Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only a few things are necessary, really only one, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her." I pray I will be like Mary this Christmas season, putting my "Martha tendencies" aside.
