Spring Break 2012
We had a wonderful Spring Break! It just went by too fast! We had LOTS of rain for most of the week. I was tempted to build an Ark on the 3rd day of rain. It seemed like it was never going to stop! We managed to squeeze in some indoor activities on those rainy days like bowling and games at Chuck-E-Cheese with friends. We also enjoyed a movie day at home. That was nice for a change. When it wasn't raining, we took walks to the pond, bike rides to the park and just played in the backyard. It was great!
The highlight of our trip was going to visit Brad, Amy, Owen and Ashlyn in Blanchard! We stopped at the Oklahoma City Outlet Mall for some shopping on the way to their house. It was fun getting some new things for Spring! When we got to the Foster's house, we enjoyed hanging out, eating, catching up, playing games, playing outside, going shopping, etc... The boys had a blast and did not want to leave! They love being there! The boys used to call them their cousins even though they are just friends. They are really good friends, though (like family), so I like to think of them as their adopted cousins! ;)
I didn't take my camera with me, so these pictures were taken from my phone. They are not the best quality, but better than nothing, I suppose.
Brad and Amy live out in the country. I love how quite their neighborhood is and I love all of the big trees they have! It is so nice and peaceful out there. Here are the kids taking turns on the big tree swing at a neighbor's house!

Amy, Ashlyn and I did a little shopping and had lunch on Saturday. It was so nice out, so we ate lunch outside!
We stopped for a yummy treat before meeting back up with the boys! They tasted as good as they looked!
School is back in session now and we are counting down the days until summer! It will be here before we know it!
