Bye Bye Braces!

Today was a very exciting day at the Roberts' house! Judd got his braces off! Ya-hoo!!! Now, I should mention that this was phase 1. He will have another set in a couple of years after he loses all of his baby teeth. He has 4 loose now, so it may be sooner than later. The orthodontist will monitor him every few months until he is ready for phase 2. I decided to make today a special day for Judd, so I let him skip school! He has not missed very much school this year and since it is the last month of school, I thought, why not?! Here he is before going to the orthodontist this morning. Can you say "metal mouth"? ;)

Afterwards, we met Bart for lunch and then Judd and I went to a movie. Here is Judd and Bart at lunch. Bart cannot deny him as his son, that's for sure! He is his "mini me"! ;)

It was a fun day with my first born! I was glad to be able to spoil him a bit today! Love that boy!
