Mating 101

I was going through his closet and the conversation went something like this...

Child:  Mom, today, in Science, we were talking about how new animals are made.  Like, how if a horse and a donkey mate, they make a mule.

Me:  Yes, that's right.

Child:  Well, a kid raised his hand and asked the teacher how it is possible for a girl to have a baby, if she and the boy are not married.

Me:  (GULP) What did the teacher say?

Child:  Well, he paused for a really long time with a smile on his face, and then he said, "they could possibly have a sperm donor".

Bwahahahaha!  Something tells me that one wasn't covered in the teacher's manual! Ha!  Clearly, the teacher was taken off guard!  Ha!

These conversations come out of no where.  No where, I tell ya!  And I am never prepared for them!  LOL

Keeps life interesting, that's for sure!
