A Long, But Fun Filled Day With Family!

When we are with Bart's family, they like to cram lots in!  We always have a good time!  

Before I expand on our fun day, I forgot to mention who finally joined us in Mobile.....

We celebrated with lunch at Big Time Diner (one of our favorite dives)!

Now on to our big, full, fun day!

Lunch, Laser Tag, The Lone Ranger, and Laps

We started with lunch at Manci's in Daphne.  We had never been before, but saw it featured on "Diner's, Drive-In's, and Dives", so we couldn't wait to try it out!  Let me just say that it did not disappoint!  It was so yummy!

Oh, and I can't forget this part.  Bart's sister, Jacqueline, wasn't able to go, but she told us we had to visit the bathroom while we were there.  We had no idea why, but knew it must be good the way she talked it up.  Well, when I went to take a peak, this is what I saw....

You know what they say happened to the curious cat, right?  Well, I just about DIED when curiosity got the best of me and I lifted the leaf!

Hooooooonnnnnnnkkkkkkkk!!!!!!

It was the LOUDEST horn I had ever heard in my entire life!

The entire place started clapping, whistling, laughing, etc... as soon as the horn sounded.  Apparently, the horn is heard throughout the entire place.  To say I was red with embarrassment when I walked out of that bathroom would be an understatement.  Ha! Ha!  

I must admit, it was a good one, though!  Well done, Manci's!  Well done!

After lunch, we took the kids (and Bart - ha!) to play a round of laser tag.  After that, we went to see "The Lone Ranger".  It was really good!  I loved it!  :)

We had to stop for a picture with One Direction!  They just so happened to be hanging out at the Eastern Shore movie theatre that day!  ;)

We ate at "Laps" for dinner, a new restaurant on the Causeway.  It was good, even though we ate at 9:00PM.
