Cousin Time in Texas!

We went to see Reid, Amy, Nathan, Ella and Drew this past weekend in Katy.  It was a very lonnnnnnng drive (almost 9 hours), but totally worth it.  We had a blast!

Me and my (not so little) brother!

Sweet Amy!  I always love seeing her!

Jack and Drew!

Judd and Drew!

Ella and Jack getting ready to eat!

Judd and Nathan looking so big!

Amy and Reid at dinner.  By the way, Reid is a FANTASTIC cook!

Reid ordered us a Halloween King Cake from New Orleans!  It was SO GOOD!

S'mores by the fire pit!

Nathan and Bart!

Silly kids!

Getting ready to go fish in the pond

Can you see Jack climbing the fence?  We loved their big back yard!  So much room to run around and things to explore!

Jack and Chop!

"Please stop taking our picture, Mom!"

The boys caught their first fish ever!  I think they each caught 4 a piece!  It was a fun morning!

Amy and I snuck off for a little shopping ALONE at the outlet mall!  Oh yeah!!

Their cat, Oreo, loved Bart and Bart is NOT a cat person at all!  It made me laugh.  ;)

The kids found a snake skin in the backyard.  Wonder where the snake is that was wearing it???!!!  EEEEEKKKK!

The neighbors have 2 pretty horses.  They were so sweet to let us pet them.

Look at that profile!  Beautiful!

Ahhhhhh!  I love horses!

Bart and Reid went to the UFC fight in Houston Saturday night.  They had excellent seats.  They both had a great time!  I think it's safe to say Bart had the time of his life!

Playing a little Wii before heading home Sunday.

This picture about sums up our weekend!  The kids play so well together!

Sad to leave my Drew Drew.  :(

This cheered me up a little, though.  We spotted a Shipley's Do-Nuts on our way out of Houston!

I took this picture of downtown Dallas when we drove through on our way back to Tulsa.  Bart's new office is behind that tall building in the middle.  It's hard to believe that will be our home sooner than later.

I have to say that there is nothing like an Oklahoma sunrise and sunset.  They are, hands down, the best!  This was our view driving into Oklahoma Sunday evening.  Beautiful!

It was a great weekend!  Thankfully, when we move to Dallas, we will only be 4 hours from Reid and Amy instead of 9.  That will be really nice!
