The Weather Outside is Frightful!

Well, we got our first snow of the year before Christmas this year!  CrAzY!!!  Tomorrow is our 3rd school snow day.  We have been sort of snowed/iced in for 4 days.  We have gotten out a couple of times, but not much.  The roads are still pretty bad in the neighborhood and less traveled areas.

This is what it looked like when the boys got home from school on Thursday.  Can you see Jack's ice angel in the driveway?  ;)

This is what is looked like Friday morning!  Whoa!

I love how the snow looks during sun rises and sun sets.  Beautiful!

And this is the not-so-fun part of snow.  Laundry!  And my floors?  Forget it!  They stay messy with the snow and ice.

A plus for extra time at home is getting a head start on Christmas gifts.  This year, I am making my Mom's homemade chocolate sauce.  It is to die for!  Mmmmmmmm!
