A Texas Spring Break - Part 1
We decided to stay home this Spring Break since we are in the process of building a house. It seems weird having Spring Break so early, especially since we had a "snow day" just last week. I admit though, with the time change, it is nice to have this week to adjust. Mornings have been tough since losing that hour! This self-proclaimed rooster, has had a tough time finding her "cock-a-doodle-doo" this week!
We did a little furniture browsing on Saturday. It was a cold, rainy day so I didn't take any pictures. Yuck!
After church on Sunday, we headed over to Rockwall, TX, to "Shenanigan's" for a little fun!
Weeeeeeee!
Who doesn't love a little glow in the dark golf?
The boys (all 3) had a blast! ;)
I got to run in Home Goods and Charming Charlie's afterwards, so we ALL had a good day! ;)
I took this picture on our way back home. The lake in Rockwall was absolutely beautiful.
On Monday, the boys and I set out to find something new to do. We stumbled upon this awesome park not very far from us in McKinney! It even had a dog park which Max LOVED! He made so many friends! I'm pretty sure he was in doggy heaven! :)
The boys loved playing in the woods, building "bridges" to cross the creek, etc...
It's such a pretty area with amazing walking/biking trails. We can't wait to go back and take Bart.
It was a beautiful day today! We are supposed to have nice weather for the remainder of the week, so we plan to be outside as much as possible!
