Lately

I have not been very diligent about blogging lately.  Maybe because I'm actually starting to have a little bit of a life here in Texas.  I don't have quite as much down time as I did before.  Don't get me wrong.  I still have LOTS of down time, but I am learning to enjoy it instead of mourning my old, busy schedule.  Sometimes slowing down isn't such a bad thing after all.  

This post will be all over the place since I have lots to catch up on.  

I am starting with a couple of pictures from downtown Frisco.  We LOVE eating at Babe's after church.  It is so yummy!  We also love that it's right smack in the middle of downtown Frisco.  Such a cute, old town, right on the old railroad track.

I took this picture one day in carpool line while waiting on Judd.  I looked over and Jack had done this.  Haha!  Nothing like drawing attention to ourselves!  Between the Alabama flag and the Oklahoma licence plate we still have, we must really have people guessing.  Ha!  Sorry Longhorn fans, we are Alabama fans through and through! Rollllll Tide!

Oh, and could this picture of me say "I'm a redneck" any louder?!  Haha!  This is me in my typical morning uniform.  Apparently, I channel Bob Vila most mornings!  ;) Thankfully, this was not the day the superintendent was at the school greeting the parents/students!  However, he was there the next day and I am pretty sure I didn't look much better than this picture!  Ha!  Yee-haw!  I should've just hung my Alabama flag up and he would've understood!  ;)

Jack's class went on a field trip to the Ross Perot Museum.  Bart went as a chaperon.  Bart loves museums, so I knew he would want to go!  :)   This is Jack with his group.  They had a good time!

I have not posted much about our house progress because, well, there has not been much progress.  Grrrrr.  Here is the latest.  We are supposed to have a slab by Tuesday.  (Finger's crossed!!)
