We are Home Owners Again! Yipeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
Praise God, we said goodbye to Apt #632 and closed on our new house on Sagebrush Dr.! Woo hoo!
To say we are excited to be out of that little apartment is an understatement! We are so thankful for the open space in our new house, backyard, etc... I feel like I can breathe again! ;)
I made the boys pose for this pic after the closing!
Bart and I toasted our coffee on the first morning in our new house. I hope to have many, many more coffee dates with him here in this house. :)
We have enjoyed sitting out in our backyard even though it's pretty hot here. God blessed us with a couple of cooler days and we enjoyed them every chance we got!
Can you see the target way back on the fence? Jack took the air soft guns out back and did a little shooting the second we got here! He has missed his backyard!
Someone else has missed his backyard too....
Only problem is, he wants us to stay out there with him! He's a little spoiled. ;)
Mimi came to help us move! We didn't time it that way, but that's how it happened. And I have to say....I am SO THANKFUL she was here! She lined my shelves and drawers like a BOSS! She was a great help! Thank you for everything, Mimi!
She makes it a lot more fun too!
That was her trying to sit on the bag to stuff the packing paper in to make room for more. She bounced herself right off onto the floor! Haha! It was pretty funny!
When Mimi got here, Jack had this waiting for her on the front door...
Haha! The sign says, "Clean to come in". LOL! He knew I was cleaning, so I guess he figured she would too. So funny!
We worked a whole lot while Mimi was here, but we took a few breaks, as well. I didn't want to be all work and no fun.
We had a good time being together! :)
A couple of our friends sent us house warming gifts. I thought that was so sweet!
This was from my friend and co-worker, Denise. How sweet was that? They were just as YUMMY as they look!!
Tammy sent us a Target gift card! She knows me well and knows what I like!! I am going to use it to get a cute door mat I've been eyeing.
And lastly, the Jacobs' made us some yummy raspberry bars and brought them on this plate.
Is that cute, or what?!?!?! Makes me ready for football season! Roll Tide! :)
Up next...Our trip to Mobile!
