Labor Day Weekend

We had a great Labor Day weekend!  It was productive and fun, all wrapped into one!  :)

We scheduled a bulk garbage pick up for Saturday, so that meant we had to get busy unpacking boxes in the garage and make some trash to be picked up.  So, we spent Friday night unpacking our little hearts out.  We felt really accomplished when our heads hit the pillow Friday night.

On Saturday, Bart and I went out for a few hours.  We grabbed lunch and ran some errands.  We left the boys home with a list of chores and video game time.  They were both still alive when we got home and everyone was happy, so it was a success!  :)

We were so excited to get to see the Foster's on Sunday afternoon!  I just love them!  They are the kind of friends that you can just pick back up right where you left off!  Love friends like that!

On Labor Day, we met the Waltke's at Hard 8 for some BBQ and then headed over to their house and pool for the afternoon!  It was a great time catching up with them!  The boys were excited to get to swim one last time before the summer officially ends.  Sadly, this is the only picture I got during our time with them.

We had a great weekend!  

The only thing better than a long weekend, is a short work/school week!  Woo hoo!
