Mom's Retirement!

This lady right here just completed her 40th year of teaching!  That's 40 YEARS with 2nd graders and kindergartners!  Whew!  It takes a special person to do that, and she is exactly that...a VERY special lady!  She was born to be a teacher!  

The bad thing about living so far away, is that I had to miss all of the retirement festivities hosted by her school.  I would have loved to be there.

And these were taken at her retirement dinner.  My sister informed that after a glass of wine AND a mixed drink, she had a WONDERFUL time!  LOL!

We are so proud of you, Mom, and so very happy for you!  Can't wait for you to enjoy this next chapter in your life!
