Ringing in the New Year

We had a quiet, but fun, New Years Eve.  We opted to stay home and watch the Cotton Bowl (Roll Tide!).  We made tacos, played board games and just hung out cheering on the Tide!

On New Years Day, we went over to Jon and Carla's new house.  Bart took the ATV since they are sort of in the country.  We had fun riding around their neighborhood and in the open land near by.  We watched the Sugar Bowl, ate, and just hung out.  It was lots of fun!

We had our traditional New Years dinner on the 2nd.  Not many around here like the traditional black-eyed peas and greens like we do.  But we thought it was yummy!  :)

 And just like that....The tree came down and Christmas and New Years was over.  :(
