A Christmas at Home

We stayed home for Christmas this year and Mom and Dad didn't come either, so it was really quiet.  At first, I was pretty sad we would be all alone on Christmas, but it turned out to be a sweet time with our little family of four.  We are so thankful for all God has blessed us with, but mostly, each other, our health and happiness, and His son, Jesus!  Those are the most important things!

I love making a special breakfast on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  I also love setting the table cute/different ways too!

On Christmas Eve, Jack and I made some cookies for Santa!

They won't win any awards for the prettiest cookies, but they sure were tasty!  (Just ask Santa!)  ;)

'Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse...

Santa came!

Santa decided to have a little fun with the boys this year!  He sent them on a scavenger hunt, with clues, to find their loot!  ;)

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!  They found it!

What in the world??

Santa came to see Max too!  He loved his sweet potato pie and doggy candy cane cookie!

This was funny.  The boys had NO IDEA what this joint gift was at first.  Judd thought it was a humidifier!  BWAHAHAHAHA!  Can you imagine Santa giving them a humidifier for Christmas?!  Haha!  (We aren't that mean!)  ;)  It was actually an Electric Unicycle.  The boys were shocked!  They were not expecting this at all!

See....Could possibly be mistaken for a humidifier, I suppose?  LOL!

The aftermath...

Jack trying out his new Mini Bike (it's basically a lawn mower engine on wheels - ha)!

Judd's big gift was a GoPro.  He is into filming and editing videos, so he will have fun with that!

Bart guessed all of the gifts I got him (sort of). Grrrr.  ;)  He managed to surprise me with a pretty/cozy Barefoot Dreams sweater/robe and a beautiful black leather jacket which I LOVE!  The boys gave me lots of lotions, perfume, and a candle!  They know what I like!  It was a great Christmas!

Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas, as well!

From our home to yours, Merry Christmas!
