Ice Ice Baby...Texas Style!

Since it was just us for Christmas this year, we tried to make some new memories together as a family.  Every since we moved here, we've heard about the Gaylord Texan's Ice Exhibit.  So, we decided to check it out!  

The Gaylord Texan is beautiful!  The these pictures were taken indoors, but you felt like you were outside.

We bundled up in the parkas whey provided and went into the 9 degree area to check out the ice!  Brrrrrrr!  It. Was. COLD!  

It was truly amazing!  So pretty!  We were glad we went, but would prefer to go at a less crowded time if we ever do it again.  So many people!

After the Gaylord, we drove over to the Ft. Worth stockyard area so the boys could ice skate at Panther Creek.  They had a great time!

I don't have any pictures to show, but we ended our fun day with dinner at a fancy steak house on Sundance Square.  It did not disappoint!  

It was a great day with my people!
