Easter in Mobile

We headed down south to Mobile for Easter this year! 

Mimi and Big Daddy picked us up from the airport Thursday night and took us to Big Time Diner for dinner.  Yum!!

We stayed with Mee Maw and Pee Paw the entire weekend so we could help them out some while we were there.  So, the next morning (Good Friday) I got up and went to the grocery store to get some groceries for some things I was planning to make them.  And look who I ran into at Fresh Market!  Sweet Mandy!  

On Friday night, Bart grilled steaks for us and the boys dyed Easter eggs.  You are never too old to dye Easter eggs!!

Pee Paw requested banana splits for dessert that night.  What Pee Paw wants, Pee Paw gets when I'm in charge...

He loved it and ate every bite!  ;)

Before I forget, something HUGE happened last week,  JUDD GOT HIS DRIVER'S LICENSE!  😲

I took this pic while he was waiting for the instructor.  He did great and past with flying colors despite the rain!  We are very proud of him and nervous at the same time!!  This is a whole new chapter for us as parents.

Mee Maw insisted Judd drive her car while we were in Mobile.  Judd was happy to oblige!

We hung out with Mimi and Big Daddy on Saturday.  Here is Big Daddy and his baby, Socks...

And this is his other baby, Moose.  Moose is only a year old and STILL GROWING!  😮

Mom and I enjoyed being outside some.  The weather was so nice.

We went to church with Mimi and Big Daddy Sunday morning.

Then, we went to the Country Club with the Roberts for lunch.  Aren't my in laws the cutest?

Look at Pee Paw's cute shoes!  He's a southern boy to the core!

We had our own private room at the Country Club, so that was nice.

It was great visiting with family!

Look!!  Colin finally "put a ring on it"!  He and Molly are getting married!!  Yay!!

Trevor brought Maisie to lunch.  She is the sweetest!

After lunch, we went to my parent's house and got to see Kristie's family!  They had just gotten home from the beach.  So glad we got to see them before we headed back to Dallas!

Big Daddy took us to the airport that evening and we headed back to Dallas.  It was a fast trip, but a great time with family!  We are so blessed to be a part of two wonderful families!
