Thanksgiving and a Foot Surgery

For Thanksgiving, we loaded up and headed to Alabama with a stop in Clinton on the way!  We had a great time with family!

After Thanksgiving, it was time for my long awaited, postponed for years, foot surgery.  I was so nervous about it, but it went fine.  The recovery was a little brutal, but otherwise, everything went fine.  I am so thankful Mom came to help out for a week!  

Someone else was glad she came too!  :)

I felt pretty good until my nerve block wore off, so Mom and I had a special guest over to make cookies with us!

Cooper LOVES Skye!  I think the feeling is mutual!  ;)

Mom braided Skye's hair for a wedding they were going to.  It looked so cute!

I was getting stir crazy at home so Mom and I went to see a movie.  It was nice getting out!

I was so thankful Mom came to help me out that week!  Such a blessing!
