Friends and Parties!
What a fun day we had yesterday!
I was at a baby shower at the Church and I got a text from Bart saying Brad and Amy were passing through town on their way home from Branson and wanted to meet us for lunch!! I was so excited to get to see them! They are just like family to us! I just love them so! No matter how much time passes between visits, we always just pick back up right where we left off. I love friends like that!
Here is Judd and Owen. Owen is getting so big! (And no, the straw is not in Judd's nose. It's just the angle of the picture!)
Here is Jack and Ashlyn. Jack didn't want to take a picture, so it was hard getting him to cooperate.
Brad and Amy! :)
Here are the monkeys after lunch! They had a blast in the short time they had together!
Ashlyn asked Amy on the way home if they could stay the night. She said they had their clothes and stuff in the car already, so why not just stay the night?! Awe! That made my day! We will have to get together again soon! We are talking about having Thanksgiving together. I hope we can work it out!
After lunch, we came home and did a few things around the house and then went to a Halloween party at one of Bart's co-worker's house. We went back and forth on costumes, but in the end decided not to dress up. I was sort of sorry we didn't dress up, but it was fine. Here are some pictures from the party! Jessie and Jennifer, the hostesses, went all out with the Halloween decorations! It was so cool!
Sadly, it rained all day yesterday, but it cleared up in time for the kids to go on a hayride before we left!
We played Gestures (boys against the girls). This was a little intimidating since I didn't know anyone, but it went ok.
The kids had a turn after the adults were done!
